Ms. Fortie has been associated with Turpin & Rattan Engineering since 1984 and is a Principal in the firm. She is currently the Branch Manager of the San Diego Office. Ms. Fortie sustains a strong active leadership role in the financial, administrative, and business development aspects of Turpin & Rattan Engineering, Inc. Ms. Fortie became a Principal in the firm in 1994 and was appointed as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer in 1998. As the firm’s CFO, her duties include contract negotiations, maintaining the financial stability of the firm, and capital budget expenditures.
Ms. Fortie began her career as the Computer System Manager and was instrumental in the implementation of Turpin & Rattan Engineering, Inc. computer graphics department. All of the CADD and BIM standards now employed by Turpin & Rattan Engineering, Inc. were tested, developed and implemented under Ms. Fortie’s direction and guidance.
