Vartanians has been associated with Turpin & Rattan Engineering, Inc. since 1989, and is the President of the firm. Mr. Vartanians acts as both an active project manager and engineer on all his projects. He has extensive design and engineering experience involving large commercial, telecommunication, industrial, and school facilities.
Mr. Vartanians has diverse experience in the design of electrical distribution systems analysis for voltages up to 16.6 kV. Mr. Vartanians has designed electrical distribution systems with various levels of redundancy and complexity for the suited categories of many mission critical facilities. Mr. Vartanians’ additional engineering and design responsibilities include: feasibility studies, site inspections, load flow studies, power stability analysis, fault current calculations, power system coordination studies, lighting calculations and layouts, fire alarm and security system design, switchgear equipment layouts, medium and low voltage power distribution design, UPS and standby power distribution design, and specification and cost estimate preparation.
In addition to his executive management responsibilities Mr. Vartanians manages QA/QC and oversees the workflow activity of the entire A/E team including project managers, project engineers, and designers on prime projects. He provides leadership and support at every stage of a project and collaborates closely with clients and A/E team members to ensure cost effective, timely results and client satisfaction.
